Opis
Podręcznik do uczenia się pisania w jęz. hiszpańskim.
Opis po angielsku:
EL ARTE DE ESCRIBIR is an intermediate to advanced writing skills text designed to help students become better writers in academic and practical settings. In the three main units of the text, students learn a simple method for summarizing and comparing articles and other texts, put together a resume in Spanish and learn about simple correspondence, and gain an appreciation for literary writing styles. A final unit provides practice with the mechanical aspects of writing Spanish (accentuation, syllabification, spelling problems, and so on) as well as advice on using a dictionary. The text prepares students for real-world situations as well as for advanced literature courses (taken by most Spanish majors). Written completely in Spanish, the text is appropriate for native and non-native students.
Emilia Borsi is Professor of Spanish and Italian at The City University of New York. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Spanish, with a minor in Italian, from Columbia University. During the past decade, she has concentrated on helping students improve their writing skills and has developed a unique course designing the methodology outlined in El arte de escribir. She has co-authored a number of grants and produced a teaching manual entitled Finding Employment. She has been departmental chairperson, and served on many college committees on curriculum development and academic policy and as a representative for the Professional Staff Congress to national professional organizations.
Fay R. Rogg is Professor of Spanish at The City University of New York/CUNY. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Spanish and Latin American Language and Literature from Yale University where she later taught as a Visiting Fellow. She also taught at McGill University and Hunter College. She has published in many professional journals and periodicals. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in curriculum development not only in languages but also in the liberal arts and business curricula. She has received numerous grants from the public and private sectors for her research in these areas. She attended the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration and developed a Learning Center for improvement in the business curricula. She has done extensive research in interdisciplinary studies. In recent years, she has devoted her energies to the method proposed in El arte de escribir and has lectured throughout the U.S.A. on it.
